A parent orientation session is required for all new
members. Please
make sure that you are signed up and able to attend independently
of your child/children. Parent Orientation is mandatory
and part of your partnering agreement to participate in our
program.
Full payment is required at the
time of registration to secure your child’s place in
their class. Checks
will be deposited and credit cards run once your child is
placed into the class of your choice.
Wings Over Water is a member’s only facility.
The $40 annual membership fee in non-refundable and non-transferable.
We gladly accept cash, personal check, AMEX, Visa/MasterCard,
and Discover.
As a courtesy to our WOW families a payment plan is available
to families registering two (2) or more students in our lesson
program. Credit card information is required at the
time of registration. The total amount due will be
paid in installments and can be paid by cash, check or credit
/debit card.
Private lessons are paid in full at the time of scheduling.
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel a private lesson.
If you fail to call and cancel your lesson within the prior
24 hours, it cannot be re-scheduled. To insure your full private
lesson it is necessary to start on time. Lost time cannot be
made up.
Wings Over Water School of Swimming does not offer
any cash refunds or returns to credit/debit cards. Membership
fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
A withdrawal from program request must be made
in writing on our “withdrawal form” and submitted
to WOW before the end of the session. All accounts
will be assessed a $25 withdrawal fee per registrant. Credit
balances may be applied to another WOW program or retail
merchandise.
If you are absent or miss a class for any reason,
you are entitled to a Free Family Swim Pass, Free Exercise
Pass or a Free Lap Swim Pass. A pass can be used anytime within
your current annual membership period. It is our way
of providing you with the opportunity to enjoy our lovely
WOW facility!
Program cancellations do happen and are based on the
safety and well being of our students and staff. Weather,
facility or mechanical problems do happen and sometimes without
a lot of notice.
Please keep in mind that any cancellation of class
is determined by existing weather conditions in the immediate
WOW area. Such decisions are made with the utmost of consideration
for the safety of all.

Thunder / Lightning
Upon
hearing thunder or seeing lightning directly overhead,
WOW is required by the Putnam County Health
Department regulations to remove all swimmers from
the water/pool deck. They must be clear
from the water/pool deck for up to twenty (20) minutes
from the last thunder-clap or flash of lightning. The
storm must pass before it is safe to re-enter the pool. Unfortunately
there is no way to plan
this closing. |

Facility
Mechanical /Chemical Problems
If your class
must be cancelled due to facility problems, you will
be called at once. Please make sure
that WOW has all updated, primary contact numbers that
you can be reached at. In the event of a cancelled
class, the BONUS WEEK will be utilized. |

Teacher
Illness/ No Substitute Available
If your
class must be cancelled due to unavailability of
your teacher or a substitute you will be notified
at once. Please make sure that WOW has all updated,
primary contact numbers that you can be reached at.
In the event of a cancelled class the BONUS WEEK will
be utilized. |
Bonus week(s) is our way of ensuring program consistency
for all WOW students. It is a BONUS class added on
to the end of our regular session dates. BONUS WEEK(s)
may be used if WOW needs to cancel class due to weather,
teacher absence or any other unforeseen reason. Check
session information for specific BONUS WEEK(s) dates.
WOW Bucks will be issued for any and all WOW cancellations
beyond the designated BONUS WEEK(s). $20 WOW Bucks are
for retail merchandise only.
