Water Babies
Ages
ENTRY LEVEL for babies 6 months to 18 months
Length of class
30 minutes
Spaces in class
9 students per class
Requirements
One parent per child must accompany child
Description
  • Parent Orientation required for new members
  • Double diapering required
  • Both baby and parent will submerge. Designed as a first water experience, includes songs, playing with toys while experiencing the water together for the first time.

Parent & Tot
Ages
ENTRY LEVEL for tot’s 18 months to 2 ½ years
Length of class
30 minutes
Spaces in class
9 students per class
Requirements
One parent per child must accompany child
Parent Orientation required for new members
Description
  • Double diapering required
  • Both baby and parent will submerge
  • Sit, listen, and wait,. Safety sit and floating will be introduced.
  • Designed as a first water experience, includes songs, playing with toys while experiencing the water together for the first time.

Advanced Parent & Tot
Ages
12 Months to 21/2 years of age

30 minutes
Spaces in class
9 students per class
Requirements
Tot should have graduated from our PARENT & TOT PROGRAM
One parent need to be in the water with child
Double diapering required
Description
Tots will work more independently with Aquatic Educator while
parent is still in the water; both parent and child will submerge
Skills needed

Tot has successfully completed WOW’S Parent & Tot or Water Babies program
Safety sit on a platform for a count of 10
Underwater travel to a parent comfortably
Underwater elevator with assistance

Ages

Gold Fish Plus
Ages
Designed for students who have GRADUATED FROM WOW’S ADVANCED PARENT & TOT OR GOLD FISH PROGRAM
Length of class
30 minutes
Spaces in class
4 students per class
Requirements
One parent will be IN WATER OR ON DECK as per Aquatic Educator’s recommendation
Double diapering required
Description
A semi introduction to a small group program, sit listen & wait and working individually with their Aquatic Educator is a primary goal.
Skills needed
Underwater travel to the steps
Sit, listen and wait on all platforms to a count of 20
Anchor to steps with feet
Walks on steps with little or no assistance
Walks up steps to sit, listen and wait

AQUATIC EDUCATORS RECOMMENDATION REQUIRED.
Children should have graduated from Gold Fish or Gold Fish Plus

Description
Goal is to provide a comfortable transition for your 3 year old into working
independently with an Aquatic Educator.
Skills needed
Can sit, listen and wait on all platforms with little assistance
seperates from parents with ease
Submerges comfortably with assistance
Can be quiet

AQUATIC EDUCATORS RECOMMENDATION REQUIRED.
Children graduated from WOW’S Gold Fish Plus or Tot  program.
Double diapering required
Description
Goal is to provide a comfortable transition for 3 year olds into working
Independently with an instructor
Skills needed
Totally separated from parent
Can sit, listen and wait on all platforms
Blows bubbles into interface with mirror on lap
Initiates submerging
Scoops to a teacher and or steps
Maintains a quiet back pencil shape with assistance
Independently enters and exits the water from all platform
