Perpetual Swim Program:

What: Wings Over Water offers a  “perpetual swim program”.  This means students will register for their recommended level and when they have mastered the necessary critical skills, the student can move up to the next level.  It also means monthly tuition! On or around the 1st of every month your account will be automatically charged for the next month’s lessons.

Tuition Cost

30 min lessons $135 per month (3 months - 5 years old)

45 min lessons $145 per month (6 -12 years old/ Teens/ Adults)

60 min lessons $155 per month (upper levels for youth program)

Registration is available online 24 hours per day and we prorate!

All tuition is based on an average month of 4 lessons per month,

some months might have 5 lessons and cost more in that month.  

How: Our front desk staff will be able to help answer all of your questions along the way.  When your child completes the critical skills in their level you will be advised by their aquatic educator that they are ready to move up.    Parents will be able to search for the new class on our parent portal and transfer into an open class for the following month. 

 Frequently Asked Questions:

 What is Monthly Tuition per Class: You will be billed for the amount of classes in each month. (example: In March there will be 5 Mondays, if you are swimming on a Monday you will be billed for 5 classes that month.  In April we will be closed for Easter Sunday, if you swim on Sundays you will only be billed for 3 Sundays.)  

 What if I Want to Withdraw:   Families who wish to withdraw may do so at anytime giving 30 day written notice.

 What are Make Up Tokens:   The parent portal now allows you to schedule a future absence for your student.  You can then schedule a make up lesson online. Make Up tokens need to be used within 30 days.

Veteran's Discount: We offer a 10% discount to our USA veterans and their immediate family. 10% discount applies to tuition for swim lessons, lap swim program, water exercise program, and our family swim program. The discount does not apply to the $50 annual membership due for each swimmer/ member.  Discount programs cannot be combined.  

Monthly Tuition: We bill tuition monthly on the first. Please call to set up.  Tuition is approximately $130 - $175 per month based on the swim class level.  A credit card is placed on file and will be charged each month.  Questions: call us:  845 279 9525

Policies

Payments and Monthly Tuition

We gladly accept cash, personal checks, Visa/MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  Our online registration system accepts credit/debit 

We have monthly tuition.  Around the end of each month we will send out a reminder for the tuition for the next month.  We will automatically bill your account and run your credit card for the tuition on the first day of the month.  Your credit card information and the monthly tuition will be processed automatically.  Your card on file needs to be current. Please call us with any change in address, credit card number or expiration dates.

Monthly Membership Fee

Wings Over Water is a member’s only facility. The $5 monthly membership fee in non-refundable and non-transferable.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are paid in full at the time of scheduling. A 24-hour notice is required to cancel a private lesson. If you fail to call and cancel your lesson within the prior 24 hours, it cannot be re-scheduled. To insure your full private lesson it is necessary to start on time. Lost time cannot be made up.

Refund Policy

Wings Over Water School of Swimming does not offer any cash refunds or returns to credit/debit cards. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Withdrawal from Program

To withdraw from the swim program please request 30 days in advance and it must be made in writing on our “withdrawal form” and submitted to WOW.   Credit balances may be applied to another WOW program or retail merchandise.

Cancellations or Closings

Program cancellations do happen and are based on the safety and well being of our students and staff. Weather, facility or mechanical problems do happen and sometimes without a lot of notice.

Weather Cancellations

Please keep in mind that any cancellation of class is determined by existing weather conditions in the immediate WOW area. Such decisions are made with the utmost of consideration for the safety of all.

Snow / Ice

Winter weather related closing information may be obtained as follows; Facebook; 
call WOW and speak with a team member 845 279 9525, or dial X43 for closing/cancellation information.
Listen to 100.7 FM.  We will text and email all families who if we are closing.

Thunder / Lightning

Upon hearing thunder or seeing lightning directly overhead, WOW is required by the Putnam County Health Department regulations to remove all swimmers from the water/pool deck. They must be clear from the water/pool deck for up to thirty (30) minutes from the last thunder-clap or flash of lightning. The storm must pass before it is safe to re-enter the pool. Unfortunately there is no way to plan this closing.

Facility Mechanical /Chemical Problems

If your class must be cancelled due to facility problems, you will be contacted via text and email.  Please make sure that WOW has all updated, primary contact information, especially a valid email.  In the event of a cancelled class, swimmers can schedule a makeup class.

Teacher Illness / No Substitute Available

If your class must be cancelled due to unavailability of your teacher or a substitute you will be notified at once. Please make sure that WOW has all updated, primary contact information, especially a valid email. In the event of a cancelled class, swimmers can schedule a makeup class.

Student Absence. 

Each swimmer may request one makeup class per month. Families must call WOW to notify of swimmer absence- the more notice the better!  Makeup lessons expire after 30 days. Within our abilities and what classes have space, we will do our best to find a class, time and day for your makeup.  Some levels and classes are full on certain days. All of our classes have teacher-student ratios that we will stick to when scheduling a makeup; we can accommodate a make-up swimmer only if there is space available.
