Wings Over Water offers a “perpetual swim program”.  This means students will register for their recommended level and when they have mastered the necessary critical skills, the student can move up to the next level.  It also means monthly tuition! On or around the 1st of every month your account will be automatically charged for the next month’s lessons.  If a month has 5 lessons the monthly charges will be higher and reflect the 5th lesson.  All tuition is based on an average month of 4 lessons per month, some months might have 5 lessons and cost more in that month.

Monthly Tuition

30 min Water Baby $135 per month (4- 12 months)

30 min lessons $135 per month (12 months - 5 years old)

45 min lessons $145 per month (6 -12 years old/ Teens/ Adults)

Registration is available online 24 hours per day and we prorate

Our front desk staff will be able to help answer all of your questions along the way.  When your child completes the critical skills in their level you will be advised by their aquatic educator that they are ready to move up.    Parents will be able to view our schedule for the new class on our parent portal and transfer into an open class for the following month. 

 Frequently Asked Questions:

Two Reusable Swim Diapers? A reusable swim diaper is a swim pant that looks like a "speedo" bottom.  It fits the swimmer snugly.  Two. Yes.  All Swimmers under 4 years old (even if they are potty trained) must wear two swim diapers. One over the other, or we call it "double diapers".  This process has really helped us reduce the number of incidents in the pool so we do not have to close for an unplanned "accident".  Thank you for adhering to this rule.  Please feel free to ask questions.  We do sell them at the front desk in all sizes and colors.  

 What is Monthly Tuition per Class: You will be billed for the amount of classes in each month. (example: In March there will be 5 Mondays, if you are swimming on a Monday you will be billed for 5 classes that month.  In April we will be closed for Easter Sunday, if you swim on Sundays you will only be billed for 3 Sundays.)  

 What if I Want to Withdraw:   Families who wish to withdraw may do so at anytime giving 30 day written notice. Email us at Fairfield@wingsoverwater.com

 What are Make Up Tokens:   The parent portal now allows you to schedule a future absence for your student.  You can then schedule a make up lesson online. Make Up tokens need to be used within 30 days.

Pre-Swim Team  Upper level swimmers can add this second class each week to their swim. Register for your regular weekly lesson and then add pre-swim team. Swimmers will be coached in specific competitive techniques that are at the cutting edge in racing. 

Gift Certificates Available

Water Baby Program:  This class is for 4 - 12 months old.  Come enjoy a swim class with your baby.  Our pool is 90 degrees.  This is warm enough for the baby and parents to relax and enjoy a water experience together.  Current membership required ($5 per month).  Tuition is $135 per month.

Private Lessons:  Each lesson is 30 minutes and is billed monthly at $75 per lesson.  Average of 4 lessons per month at $300.00.

30 minute semi-private lesson for siblings $50 for each student ($100.00 total for lesson)

Lap Swim & Water Walking

Policies

Parent Orientation 

A parent orientation session is a fun way to meet our staff, try our pool and learn all about your swim program.  We are designing an online version so that all parents can watch the introduction to swimming in the convenience of your home.    

Tuition is Monthly

Payments can be made online at our website, over the phone or in person.  Tuition is billed every month and your card on file will be automatically charged each month for the following month's tuition.  Siblings will receive 5% discount.

Monthly Membership Fee

The $5 annual membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

We gladly accept cash, personal check, Visa/MasterCard, and Discover and AMEX.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are paid in full at the time of scheduling. A 24-hour notice is required to cancel a private lesson. If you fail to call and cancel your lesson within the prior 24 hours, it cannot be re-scheduled. To insure your full private lesson it is necessary to start on time. Lost time cannot be made up.  

Refund Policy

Wings Over Water School of Swimming does not offer any cash refunds or returns to credit/debit cards. Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Withdrawal from Program

A withdrawal from program request must be made in writing on our “withdrawal form” and submitted to WOW with 30 days notice to end automatic billing. Credit balances may be applied to another WOW program or retail merchandise. Credit balances expire 1 year after the date of issue.

Student Absence

WOW families have the opportunity to request a makeup lesson when they miss a class. You are allowed one per month. Families must call WOW to notify of swimmer absence- the more notice the better! Requests for makeup lessons can be made in person or over the phone or online.  Makeup lessons expire when you withdraw and are not carried over.  

Class cancellations and/or Swim School Closings

Program cancellations do happen and are based on the safety and well being of our students and staff. Weather, facility or mechanical problems do happen and sometimes without a lot of notice. If Wings Over Water cancels a class you can schedule a make-up class from the current schedule.

Weather Cancellations

Please keep in mind that any cancellation of class is determined by existing weather conditions in the immediate WOW area. Such decisions are made with the utmost of consideration for the safety of all.

Thunder / Lightning

Upon hearing thunder or seeing lightning directly overhead, WOW is required by the Health Department regulations to remove all swimmers from the water/pool deck. They must be clear from the water/pool deck for up to thirty (30) minutes from the last thunder-clap or flash of lightning. The storm must pass before it is safe to re-enter the pool. Unfortunately there is no way to plan this closing
